Terms of Service

1. About EYpost

EYpost is a social media management platform for UK nurseries and early years settings ("the Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EYpost. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your nursery or organisation to use EYpost. By signing up, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your organisation.

EYpost is intended for use by nursery and early years professionals in the United Kingdom.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at hello@eypost.co.uk

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment details are required during the trial. At the end of the trial, you must choose a paid plan to continue using EYpost.

Paid Plans

EYpost is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed on the Billing page within your account. Prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

No Refunds

All payments are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or credits for:

  • Partial months of service
  • Months where you did not use the service
  • Unused features or post allowances
  • Early cancellation of a subscription

If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refund will be issued for the remaining days.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. We will notify you by email before any price change takes effect. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings - Billing or by emailing hello@eypost.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation but no refund will be issued for the current period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use EYpost to:

  • Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing or harmful
  • Share personally identifiable information about children without appropriate consent
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Circumvent or reverse-engineer the platform
  • Use the service for any purpose other than legitimate nursery social media management
  • Violate Facebook's, Instagram's or Google's terms of service

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules without notice.

7. Content Ownership

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create and the notes you enter into EYpost. By using EYpost you grant us a limited licence to process and publish your content to your connected social media accounts as directed by you.

AI-generated content

Posts and images generated by EYpost's AI tools are provided for your use. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness or originality of AI-generated content.

Our content

The EYpost platform, branding, and underlying technology remain the intellectual property of EYpost Ltd.

8. Social Media Accounts

You are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to connect and publish to any Facebook Page, Instagram account or Google Business Profile through EYpost. You must comply with the terms of service of those platforms.

We are not responsible for any consequences arising from content published to your social accounts, including account suspensions or policy violations imposed by those platforms.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may carry out maintenance that results in temporary unavailability. We will endeavour to give advance notice of planned downtime where possible.

We are not liable for any losses arising from service unavailability, including scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or third-party platform disruptions (Facebook, Instagram, Google).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:

  • EYpost is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses
  • Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in that period
  • We are not responsible for the content published to your social accounts or the consequences thereof

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using EYpost you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of EYpost at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Fail to pay your subscription fees
  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour

On termination, your access to EYpost will cease. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination by emailing hello@eypost.co.uk.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
